Gaudí

The Gaudí bed, available in single and double sizes, is designed as a tribute to the nobility of wood, the natural element par excellence. The headboard and legs, crafted from solid wood and available in various finishes, form a sinuous structure, the result of exquisite craftsmanship. The fabric or leather upholstery seems to rest naturally on this structure, following its lines without concealing them. This effect of apparent simplicity is the result of careful design that highlights the wood’s organic forms and creates a balance between the structure’s solidity and the softness of the upholstery. The result is a bed with a distinctive character, welcoming and harmonious in its proportions. The sleeping surface features adjustable slats.

Gaudí pays tribute to the noble natural qualities of wood. This design was possible thanks to the skills of the expert cabinet makers and the excellent tailoring that have always been the Flou trademarks.

Configuration and estimate

A refined detail in the bedroom highlights the artisanal craftsmanship of the materials and the harmony between form and function. The natural wood frame of the Gaudí bed envelops the Morgan 0904 green fabric upholstery, emphasizing the softness of the texture and the solidity of the structure. Next to it, the Gaudí side table in natural iroko, matching the bed, features a bronzed glass top that delicately reflects the light from Natevo’s Alba lamp, which casts a warm glow through its cylindrical diffuser made of transparent, satin-finished glass.

MATERIALS AND FINISHES

The headboard and legs define Gaudí’s design with curved lines and smooth transitions. The various finishes highlight the structure’s presence, creating either a harmonious or contrasting relationship with the wall covering.

The cladding that conforms to the shape

The upholstery complements the structure with a soft, flowing design, crafted to highlight the wood grain. Fabrics, leathers, and colors offer a variety of styling options, ranging from subtle pairings to bolder combinations.
